ASPP’s Board of Trustees was formed in 2013 to provide oversight and advice to the National Board. We are very fortunate to have their guidance and help in promoting and supporting our efforts to engage, inform and connect with picture professionals everywhere.

Andrew Fingerman
ASPP Board of Trustees
Andrew Fingerman is CEO of PhotoShelter, a worldwide leader in portfolio websites, online archiving, and business tools for professional photographers. Previously, Andrew led marketing at PhotoShelter where he pioneered the company’s photographer education programs for five years, and he had prior experience at American Express in marketing and strategy roles. In addition to holding an MBA from Columbia University, Andrew is an avid photographer himself.

Michael Masterson
ASPP Board of Trustees
Michael Masterson was national president of the ASPP from 2010–2013 and also served as co-president of the West Coast chapter. His experience includes marketing, business development, strategic planning, contact negotiations and recruiting in the photography, graphic design and publishing industries. In addition to long experience at the Workbook and Workbookstock, Michael owned and was creative director of his own graphic design firm for several years. He currently heads Masterson Consulting, working for creative companies to source talent, and also provides resume and professional profile services for job-seekers.

Christopher S. Reed
ASPP Board of Trustees
Christopher S. Reed is a copyright lawyer and professional photographer in Los Angeles, where he works for a major studio advising on content protection policy. Chris previously served as senior advisor for policy and special projects to the director of the U.S. Copyright Office, advising on issues relating to copyright law and policy, technology, and the Office’s registration and recordation systems. Before joining the Copyright Office, Chris served as an attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and was actively involved in the proposed Google Book Search Settlement Agreement. He holds a J.D. and LL.M. (intellectual property) from the University of New Hampshire School of Law.

Cathy Sachs
ASPP Board of Trustees
Cathy Sachs led the ASPP as its executive director from 1995-2010 and was given its highest honor, the Jane Kinne Picture Professional of the Year Award, for her long service to the association and its members. Cathy has 35 years of varied experience in the industry including stints at Time Life Books, managing the Woodfin Camp agency, working for a National Geographic photographer, speaking and moderating at countless events, acting on the advisory board of the YPA and conducting portfolio reviews.
Amy Wrynn
ASPP Board of Trustees
Amy Wrynn has worked with photography and art for the last 25 years and has just taken a new role as Director of Photo Research and Permissions at Jones & Bartlett Learning. She was previously the Director of Image Supplier Management at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Although most of her career has been in educational publishing, Amy was also an ad agency art buyer. Additionally, she served as co-president of the ASPP New England Chapter as well as national president.
Helena Zinkham
has helped shape collections and programs in the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division, where she is currently Chief, for nearly 30 years. Before joining the Library, Helena worked with picture collections in local historical societies and has written on visual literacy relating to archival care and management. In recognition of her professional contributions, Helena was elected a Fellow of the Society of American Archivists in 2008.
