ASPP members from around the country will be traveling into town for Visual Connections, so we thought we’d throw a bash and hope you will stop by.

Wednesday, April 23 – starting at 4:30 pm til at least 8:30 pm

Non-Members Welcome!  Do bring your friends!

Non-Members can take advantage of our Special Event Rate and join at the door for $100.

We’ll be at Fado’s from 4:30 to at least 8:30p and really hope you will drop by. It will be an interesting night of networking with folks who do what you do. (And our new Executive Director Sam Merrell will be there–come and meet him!)

Fado’s is two blocks east of the Red Line, just a few blocks from The Ivy Room and all the area hotels near the show venue.

The next morning, April 23, from 10:00 am to noon, ASPP Midwest Chapter is producing the A.M. panel discussion at Visual Connections: Stock Licensing Today: See clearly through the fog of change.

The panel is for experienced image and footage buyers looking for an update on the state of our industry. Discussions will examine issues confronting our industry–the evolving role of technology, changing licensing models, copyright legislation, agency & distributor relations, and the growing use of video.

Moderated by our own Doug Brooks, panelists include experts on the legal aspects (Chris Sandberg), publishing (Kim Tanner), stock photography (Mary Ellen Jansen), technology (Doug Dawirs), art buying and production (Kimber Leigh Nussbaum), and a photographer (Tim Klein).
