ASPP West presents Town Hall
Thursday, September 25, 2014, ASPP West is hosting an open forum & workshop to assess our industry, and hopefully, help us find a place in its future.
What is the state of the commercial photography industry?
What good things are happening?
What is problematic, or will become a future issue?
What innovations or industry changes are coming up that will affect how we work?
What we are seeking? Answers, action steps, solutions, ideas!
Here’s how: After a brief introduction, we will break out into small groups. Each group will choose a spokesperson and discuss our themes. Each group spokesperson will then have 2-3 minutes to share their results with the full audience. Someone will be recording all the themes and ideas that come to the fore.
Who is invited? ASPP members, photographers, editors, archivists, producers, designers, media producers, agents, researchers, etc, etc. If you create or deal with images, we want to hear from you!
When: September 25, 2014 6pm-9pm
Where: El Coyote Mexican Cafe – Backroom event area, 7312 Beverly Blvd. in Hollywood
Refreshments will be served. This promises to be a Peer2Peer Meetup on steroids!
